James W. Herlihy, CLU®
President of American Benefit Corporation
Jim has been a life insurance broker and benefits consultant for over twenty-five years. He is a Charter Life Underwriter, a member of the Million Dollar Round Table and the Top of the Table which is a group of the top 600 Life Insurance Brokers in the world.

Jim is also a member of the Association of Advanced Life Underwriters (AALU) and a member of the Nonqualified Benefits Committee. AALU meets annually in Washington, DC to discuss tax legislative issues with members of the Senate and the House of Representatives.

Jim earned a BA from St. Michaels College in Vermont and an MBA from the University of Vermont. He has addressed many groups and published numerous articles concerning Nonqualified Executive Benefits.

Marcia M. Baker, CLU®, REBC®
Director of Operations
Marcia has worked with our firm for 30 years in the marketing, plan design, and plan administration areas. Her current focus is in the marketing and technical design areas to ensure our clients receive advice and options appropriate for meeting their individual objectives.

Prior to joining American Benefit Corporation, Marcia worked in bank management. She attended Castleton State College majoring in accounting. Marcia is both a CLU® and REBC® certificant of the American College and is currently studying to complete her CASL® designation.


Lindsay S. Perry, CLU®
Director, Plan Administration
Lindsay has worked with our firm for 10 years in the administration, marketing, and plan administration areas. She coordinates the new case submission process, from initial application to obtainment of medical records through policy issue. In addition, she focuses on deferred compensation plan administration and inforce business reporting and recordkeeping. Lindsay provides valuable support through personalized client service.

Lindsay holds a degree in Accounting from the College of St. Joseph, in addition to a degree in Business Administration from Trinity College of Vermont. She is a CLU® certificant of the American College and is currently studying to complete her ChFC® designation.
